Product Design
- Organized and lead design and production team, overhauling usability and look and feel of Web and telephony unified messaging product called ThinkLink.
- Worked closely with marketing team to develop new brand and identity for product launch.
- Developed complete documentation system for user interface specifications, including continuously updated product prototypes and descriptions of interface elements across multiple versions of product.
- Developed system to track and design site for different levels of service and across multiple co-brands. Worked with usability testing team to screen test participants, write test plans, and analyze usability results. Site consistently noted as easy to use despite complexity of product offering.
Product Management
- Served as Director of Product Management, organizing hundreds of product feature requests and assisting company in understanding each request, the impact of each feature on development and prioritizing features for each release based on market research.
- Established intranet system for tracking all feature requests, improving inter-department communication and insuring departmental accountability.
Director of Interface Design USWeb/CKS (formerly Ikonic, currently marchFIRST)

Interface Design and Information Architecture
- Served as interface design lead on a large variety of interactive projects, including interactive television applications, digital broadcast satellite systems, and large corporate Web sites.
- Developed initial concepts and functionality with client and worked with internal and external teams of project managers, graphic designers, and application and production engineers on final implementation.
- Worked closely across teams to develop UI process that included: audience identification; user profile and scenario development; task analysis; focus group testing of initial concepts; high-level information flow and technology feasibility tests; robust prototype development; usability testing; and comprehensive design documentation, including flow charts, screen schematics, and page-and-page element descriptions.
Proficiency using development tools for prototype and specification development, including: FilemakerPro, HomeSite, BBEdit, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, Debabelizer, Word, Excel.
Department Director
- Worked with creative director and other interface designers to develop standards for information design documentation and communication and coordinated dissemination and adoption of standards for schematics, prototypes, and other documentation.
- Also responsible for recruitment, training, and mentorship of new interface designers.
Ikonic Bravo
Led development of Ikonic Bravo, a Web site development, documentation, and production tool used by Ikonic to create large Web sites. Bravo became the key tool used by Ikonic during the entire Web design process and included many features: graphic and text element tracking, html auto-creation, descriptions for all page and page element interaction and logic, bug tracking, and many other features.
