IGLHRC
Project Goal:
Create a new, progressive identity for the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and integrate that identity into all of their materials and publications.
My Role:
Graphic designer, information architect, UI designer and production engineer
The Story:
For this project, I teamed up with Logoman to create a new identity system for IGLHRC and applied that identity to everything from their letterhead to their newsletters and Web site. Though I had been focusing professionally on UI design, for this project I got to do it all--graphic design, UI, architecture, and production.
I also reorganized their Web site, categorizing much of their content by country, rather than the organization they had been using, which was by date and publication. For the first time, users could easily see the breadth of IGLHRC's monitoring of human rights across the world by clicking on a map and finding information pertinent to any one of over 50 nations and regions.
