Bravo

Project Goal: Evolve comprehensive Web site development and production tool for use by UI designers, editorial, project managers, production engineers and clients.

My Role: Project manager and visionary, UI designer, developer

The Story: Bravo originated from a basic database used to organize scripts for Ikonic's cd-rom creative production, tracking functionality, voice-over scripts and other required media. Slowly, the system grew increasing complex, eventually becoming a connection of relational databases used from project start to finish.

Along with a small team, I led the effort to institutionalize the use of Bravo on projects and continued to be the primary developer of new functionality. I continue to use my own version of an application based on what I learned with Bravo. This application allows me to rapidly prototype and document all pages and page elements within a Web site. I also use the system extensively in production of html and for tracking content, open issues and production bugs.
